No Waste Like Home
No Waste Like Home teaches viewers how to make their homes as energy efficient as possible.
Using some of England's most wasteful homes as examples, household sustainability expert Penney Poyzer reveals how to make one's home more environmentally-friendly.
From families with exorbitant electricity bills to those who are wasting water and generating unnecessary rubbish, Penney has tips for all.
As is often the case, there is no magic formula to being more energy efficient and eco-aware; it is usually a case of using a little common sense.
So when one family in Milton Keynes were racking up electricity bills three times the national average, it was a case of turning off all appliances when not in use, using energy saving light bulbs and heating the spa only during the hours it would be used, rather than 24 hours a day.
