DIY SOS
DIY SOS takes a look at some of the country's greatest DIY monstrosities, in a show that is full of tips, tricks and laughs.
Presenter and DIY enthusiast Nick Knowles visits a DIY nightmare every episode, usually having been called in by a despairing spouse who is sick of their partner's constant botching around the house.
Viewers decide which of three DIY dunces are given a helping hand by the DIY SOS team.
The work that Knowles, Turner and the gang undertake invariably involves addressing jobs that were started but never finished, and increasing the functionality rooms in the house.
In one such episode, the DIY SOS team turned a bare space into a bedroom big enough to accommodate a drumming youngster; and rescued a family who, having moved from their modern home into a house in need of renovation, realised they weren't up to the job.
