Property of the week: The Slide House

We at AboutProperty have a confession to make: when we first saw this property, we thought the slide was the coolest feature. After all, what could be better than a slide from the bedroom down to the pool?
Nothing. Or so we thought. Turns out, we were wrong.
We'll keep you guessing, but see if you can spot the hidden feature that we missed.
First though, that slide.
Here's the master bedroom (there are three bedrooms in total), see if you can spot anything a bit different in there:
Got it? Just to the left of the bed, there's your slide. No more clambering down stairs to get to the pool, you lucky thing you.
Very much a Wallace & Gromit style set up:
The lounge is based around the central atrium, giving it a stylish and modern open plan look:
The kitchen is also modern (unsurprisingly seeing as the house is a new build):
Now, there's a common feature to all these rooms that you might have missed. We certainly did. See any windows?
You won't, because the whole thing is underground.

Bafflingly the house actually drew a lot of criticism from members of the local council, despite the fact they will never have to see it. Perhaps they didn't know about the bedroom-to-pool slide.
Footballers are said to be queuing up to buy this place, desperate for a bit of privacy from the prying eyes of the media.
Its location in Bowdon on the edge of Altrincham makes it nice and easily accessible for Manchester United, Liverpool or Northwich Victoria players.
The central dome window provides natural light for the property, shining down on a large jacuzzi:
Not bad eh? The whole thing descends 50ft beneath ground and is below the landscaped gardens of a Victorian apartment block.
The subterranean property is known as Perdu (we prefer 'The Slide House') and the developer is Huntsmere.
It's available at a guide price of £2m on Rightmove, but there is sure to be a lot of interest, especially considering the number of awards which have been lavished upon it.
And it has a slide going from the bedroom to the pool. Awesome.
