Website launched for unmodernised property

A new website claims it can unlock the door to unmodernised homes for people who want to buy and renovate their own property.
Unmodernised.com bills itself as the UK’s first unmodernised property portal and aims to make the search easier with everything in one place.
Featuring a live search function of unmodernised property plus news and features for property developers and buyers, it works by agents uploading their property data in the same way as they do for their own website but hitting the portal button in their software interface too.
Users can search for property in a specific area or price range with results displayed in resizable list format. The site currently has 3,000 properties listed with more being added.
Registered users can also get email alerts of content updates, feature properties and newly-added unmodernised property. In future, they will be able to access specially developed buying and renovation calculators and project management software.
Julian Bryson, one of the founders of Unmodernised.com, said: "As a property investor and developer myself, I would spend hours trawling through portals and agents' websites to find the right property, so I realised that there was a gap in the market for a portal dedicated to unmodernised property."
