Celeb with six homes to guest edit Big Issue

A magazine that campaigns for homeless people is facing criticism after asking a celebrity who owns six homes with her pop star husband to guest edit an issue.
A report in the Daily Mail said the Big Issue had asked Trudie Styler, the film producer partner of Sting, to guest edit the edition that will be published next month.
Yet the couple own homes including an £8 million house in London, a £7 million estate in Wiltshire, a £2 million farmhouse in the Lake District plus further pads in Malibu, New York and Tuscany.
A friend of Ms Styler told the Mail that her editorship was just a continuation of her work for charity.
She said: "Trudie is actively involved in many charities in the UK and globally. She greatly admires the work of the Big Issue and will no doubt bring some big names to the pages of this particular issue."
However, the tie-up drew criticism from the national press. Guardian commentator Barbara Ellen called it "one of the most bewildering, tactless charity mismatches of all time. Publications for the homeless really shouldn't be edited by someone with six homes, for whom Harvey Nicks is probably a spiritual seventh."
