New site launches for private tenancy agreements

A new website has launched which claims to be the “legally watertight” way for landlords and tenants to enter a private tenancy arrangement.
PropertiesABC.com has been created by an estate agent and a solicitor aiming to provide peace of mind for tenants and landlords alike.
The site provides landlords quick and easy access to complete free council-approved tenancy agreements, automatically generates section 21 and 8 notices, and helps carry out references and arrange EPC and gas-safe certificates.
The site prompts landlords to issue notices and agreements before it's too late, and if a landlord tries to do something out of the correct legal timeframe, it doesn’t permit them to do so.
For tenants, the site claims to ensure that landlords listing on the website are operating legally because of this series of prompts, reminders and time-sensitive commands. It also enables potential renters to make online appointments with landlords, who can enter their availability into the site diary.
Von Azatian, founder of PropertiesABC.com, said: “PropertiesABC.com has property guides for both tenants and landlords, and our automatically generated tenancy agreement ensures the tenancy gets off to a legally-binding start.
“Our legal timeline prompts then ensure the management continues to be law-abiding.”
Azatian said further tenant protection is provided in the form of a safe and secure online messaging system, through which landlords and tenants can communicate.
“All the messages are stored on the PropertiesABC.com server and cannot be deleted or altered in any way, resulting in a written record of all conversations exchanged.
“It’s always best to have landlord-tenant discussions in writing and our messaging service records everything that’s exchanged for further reference.”
It's free to register with PropertiesABC.com until the end of 2011 - to find out more, click here.
