Kirstie and Phil launch House Hunter app

Celebrity property experts Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer this morning launched an iPhone app called House Hunter.
The pair, best known for presenting Location, Location, Location, say the tool has been created to help those wishing to buy their dream home. The House Hunter app includes tips on searching and viewings, video and audio clips, and detailed guidance on finance, mortgages and dealing with agents.
Kirstie and Phil have also employed the services of property portal Zoopla to offer a search tool, and once you’ve booked viewings – which can also be done through the app – you can make notes on the properties and store them on your iPhone along with the property details and any additional photos you’ve taken.
There’s even a budget calculator so you don’t end up falling for a home you can’t afford.
Phil Spencer said: “We know from helping hundreds of people through the buying process that the same problems and pitfalls arise time and time again, and that’s why we’ve created the app.”
Kirstie Allsopp added, “Making an app sounds kind of cool doesn’t it – it’s actually probably the coolest thing we’ve ever done.”
