New shared ownership web tool launched

A new shared ownership property web tool has been launched in the UK, with homes located across Britain being added to the site's database "quite rapidly".
ShareToBuy.com, dedicated exclusively to shared-ownership housing, will use its experience of being a specialist mortgage broker in the part-buy sector to provide "clear and robust" affordability information on each listing.
The website lists part-buy part-rent properties primarily from housing associations based in London and the south-east, but also has estates in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and various other regions, with a view to expanding nationally in the near future.
For every home listed on the site, customers can alter the share and deposit to see how changes might affect their monthly payments. Visitors can also search for houses by how much they can actually afford to pay.
Share To Buy helps house buyers answer important questions like 'what if I change my deposit?' and 'what if I want a bigger share of the property?'
The website displays both new-build shared-ownership properties and second-hand resale part-buy part-rent homes.
