Estate agent Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward (KFH) is launching a series of radio programmes to educate under-tens about London architecture.
The aim of the ten-minute-long shows, which will air on FunKids Radio from February 14, is to add a sense of fun to learning about the capital's history and architecture.
Programmes will include all manner of interesting facts, from why the Victorians had big windows to which decade saw the advent of DIY. Young listeners will also learn what status symbol the Tudors were most proud of and the inspiration behind the Arts & Crafts movement.
Paul Masters, KFH's group marketing and operations director, said: "We’re very pleased to have co-produced these educational and fun programmes with FunKids radio. KFH is all about London property and we help many families with young children move house, so it made perfect sense for us to be associated with this project."
Matt Deegan, FunKids' station manager, said: "FunKids is all about inspiring kids. Who knows, the next great architect could be listening."
The first programme in the FunKids Radio architecture series is on Monday February 14 at 5pm. Listen through DAB Digital Radio or online at FunKidsLive.com. To find out more, click here.
