Tenants looking for the best deal on rents may need to expand their search area to ensure they are paying less, LettingZone has suggested.
Mark Garner, director and founder of LettingZone, said with house prices potentially heading lower, he does not expect any real changes to be seen in the letting market for the next six months.
"Tenants need to totally research the rental market in their ideal area to see exactly what they get for their money, plus I would suggest they look just around the edges of that area as they may find some much better deals there," he commented.
