There are so many property, home improvement and gardening shows on television these days that it can be difficult to know where to start. Worry not: here's our guide to this week's creme de la creme.
Monday November 29th
10am-11am, Eden: Around the world in 80 gardens
Monty Don visits the water gardens of Mexico City and some Cuban colonial lawns in his latest quest for landscaped perfection.
10.45am-11.15am, More 4: How clean is your house?
Kim and Aggie meet rocket-builder Daniel Westley, and find his germ-ridden home to be a key factor in his lack of love life. You can guess where the hygienic ladies shove the proverbial rocket in this episode...
8pm-8.30pm, Home: My flat-pack home
The first episode of this new series sees a mother spending a whopping £10,000 on building a flat-pack tree house for her children. Now that's what we call a good Christmas present.
Tuesday November 30th
9.45am-10.15am, More 4: Room for improvement
A South Yorkshire couple want to convert their dingy old cellar into an all-singing, all-dancing disco-cum-cinema. Will they pull it off?
8pm-9pm, BBC Two: Alan Titschmarsh's garden secrets
Alan examines how Sissinghurst Gardens in Kent has influenced landscaping today. Its creators were some of the first to divide a garden into different 'rooms', resulting in a stimulating and practical outdoor space.
8pm-9pm, Channel 4: Kirstie's homemade home
It would seem that there's nothing Kirstie Allsopp loves more than a salvage yard. This week she's rummaging on behalf of Alpesh and Sharon.

We're all used to seeing Sarah Beeny shake her head at other people's development misdemeanours – but now it's personal, as the DIY queen attempts to save her own home.
9pm-10pm, BBC Two: At home with the Georgians
Three-part series in which historian Amanda Vickery uncovers the origins of our home-making obsession. Using diaries kept in Georgian times, she explores the role of the home in relationships between men and women 300 years ago, with some fascinating results.
Friday December 3rd
3.20pm-4.20pm, Channel 4: Location, location, location
Jet-set couple Ben and Sophie are after a Surrey-based family home for £480,000; meanwhile picky pair Glen and Rachel seek a property for £250,000.
9pm-10pm, More 4: Grand designs
Kevin McCloud hits the French Alpine resort of Les Gets to observe the progress of Nicky and James Dobree, who are attempting to transform a 300-year-old farmhouse into a high-end ski chalet.
