Primelocation has integrated Google's Street View , combined with Microsoft's Bird's Eye View aerial imagery, for users searching for property.
The online property search engine is believed to be the first to combine the Google technology for consumers searching online for property.
The user is able to access, from a two-dimensional map, to a virtual street tour of an area's buildings, green areas and landmarks, through a collection of real images collated by Google, who released the concept last week. The feature is available for an increasing number of cities, towns and regions throughout the UK.
Bird's Eye View allows users to view high resolution, low altitude angled aerial images of properties, streets and local features in more than 130 towns and cities across the UK.
Chris Evans, head of online marketing at Primelocation.com, said: "This move to multi-visual mapping grants our users a detailed, comprehensive understanding of the area that interests them - while they are still in the early stages of the buying or renting process.
"Street View expands the scope of the 'desktop house hunter', who as well as viewing interior and exterior photos of their ideal prime property, can now explore the street where it's situated and even navigate the entire neighborhood online.
"The high-quality imagery and 360 degree multi-angle view create a picture of your potential property that's more comprehensive and engaging than ever before. Combined with the Bird's Eye View feature, this innovation is set to transform the way we search for homes."
