New homes in the East Midlands
The East Midlands forms one half of the traditional central region of the UK and incorporates the counties of Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. The last of these is home to the southernmost regions of the Peak District and the beginning of the Pennine Way, and although prices have been fluctuating in recent years the trend has been upwards, and an average property can still – according to the Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) - be acquired for under £200,000.
