Each week, Location, Location, Location seeks to match its name's mantra with a house ideally suited to the featured homebuyer.

Property experts Phil Spencer and Kirstie Allsopp are charged with the task of rooting out houses that suit the often demanding requirements of people who are looking to relocate.

Phil and Kirstie take into consideration the area the guests, who are often couples looking to start afresh, wish to move to, as well as the kind of home they are looking for.

All is often not so simple, however, as the presenters have to contend with the house-hunters' indecision and belief that the perfect home is out there, and within their budget.

In the past, Kirstie and Phil have had to contend with a couple who want a more rural property with a garage big enough to take their three beloved cars, all for £250,000.

But viewers can always pick up valuable strategies on getting the most out of estate agents, how to compromise on location or property if needed, and how to visualise what a house could be, rather than what it is, after a viewing.
