Would You Buy a House With a Stranger?
Would You Buy a House With a Stranger? examines a novel way of getting your foot on the housing ladder.
With house prices failing to take any significant fall, it has become increasingly difficult for first-time buyers to get their first mortgage.
But
Would You Buy a House With a Stranger? asks the question: "What if you got a mortgage with someone else?"
The show helps first-time buyers boost their spending power by pairing them up with similar house-hunters, so they can combine forces and funds and try and get the right place together.
Every week property guru Sarah Van der Noot meets one principal buyer who goes on 'property dates' with three prospective co-buyers, after which they choose the ones they think are most suitable.
Once paired up, it is down to Sarah to find the properties she thinks will best suit the newly-acquainted buyers.
But when it comes down to looking at the houses, sparks can start flying, as differences in opinion are inevitable.
