Alan Titchmarsh, The Gardener's Year
Veteran gardener Alan Titchmarsh guides viewers through 365 days of gardening, eschewing the premise that all the best gardening is to be done in the spring and summer.
Titchmarsh offers essential advice on working your garden in the sometimes barren autumn and winter months, advising on what evergreen plants can best weather the dark, cold days.
But he also works on gardens through the spring and summer, giving tips on the plants that will make the most of the hotter, sunnier days, as well as offering advice on the optimal way to water the garden.
Throughout the series, Alan visits a number of gardens, including West Green House in Hampshire in the winter and Biggar Park in Scotland in the spring.
Alan explores the world of vegetables, informing the viewer on which veggies work best in which months, and how to ensure you get the most from them.
