Honey I Ruined the House showcases some of country's biggest design faux-pas at the hands of over-ambitious wannabe interior designers.

Naomi Cleaver, design entrepreneur, journalist and doyenne of good taste is called in to assess the affronts to style in people's homes, and offer advice on how to remedy the situation.

Invariably Naomi is called in to help because of discord in the house about the decor, such as the episode where two flatmates are split over the Egyptian theme of the lounge and the bar, replete with stools and optics that occupies the corner.

It is up to Naomi to suggest design solutions that will please both parties, while giving tips on how viewers can remedy their own interior nightmares with cost-effective answers.

Other design crises Naomi is called in to address include a kitchen that looks like a bondage den and a living area that looks like seaside postcard.
