A Place in the Sun: Home or Away? explores the different options available to those looking to move house – simply, do they stay in Britain or do they move abroad.

Presented by Amanda Lamb, Jonnie Irwin and Jasmine Harman, the property experts take members of the public looking for a change, and show them a property gem in the UK, followed by one abroad.

Taking into account cost, the house-hunters' needs and tastes, the presenters try and find the perfect solution for a fresh start.

However, it is not always the case that the house-seekers want just one or the other – in one show a couple have to decide how to best split a budget of £375,000 between a family home in Rutland and a holiday home in the Haute Pyrenees in France.

As well as assessing properties, the hosts examine the pros and cons of the different areas, helping the public make an informed decision about their big move.
