Rihanna sues former owner of her house

Pop singer Rihanna has launched a legal action against the former owner of her Beverly Hills mansion.
Celebrity news website TMZ reported that the singer filed a lawsuit in LA County Superior Court, claiming that when she was sold her $6.9 million (£4.25 million) home in 2009 the seller said she was not aware of any major defects.
According to the report, the singer claims there are “numerous waterproofing defects and evidence of water intrusion” and as a result the actual value of the property when she bought it was a million dollars less than was paid.
TMZ said the singer is also suing the “inspector, the real estate agents involved with the sale, and engineers who worked on the house”.
According to the RealEstalker, the property is a gated mansion with 270-degree views, 30-foot ceilings, a library, movie theatre, a swimming pool and a deck overlooking the canyon and the city below.
