Where will William and Kate stay in LA?

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – or, as they're more commonly known, Prince William and Kate Middleton – are due to arrive in Los Angeles on Friday. But where will the royal newlyweds stay?
According to the Daily Mail, the pair will be bedding down at Hancock Park House, a palatial Los Angeles mansion lived in by Dame Barbara Hay, the British Consul-General in LA.
The Spanish-style property, which has white walls and a terracotta tiled roof, has plenty of room for guests, with seven bedrooms spread across a 7,247sqft plot.
Hancock Park House has quite a history, having been designed by Wallace Neff back in 1929 and owned by the UK Government for almost 60 years. Since Dame Barbara's arrival in 2009, it has also enjoyed a reputation amongst the local celebs due to the annual BritWeek party she throws (this year's was to celebrate the success of British film The King's Speech).
The LA Times has reported that no efforts are being spared in the bid to protect the Duke and Duchess's safety and privacy while they're staying in Los Angeles. According to the paper, the LAPD has signed a trespass letter, which means that any paparazzi found on the West Hollywood property will be immediately arrested and escorted off.
Inside, Hancock Park House is classically decorated, with chequered black and white flagstones in the hall, grandiose rugs, intricate chandeliers and ornate gilt mirrors. The outdoor space features a swimming pool – a mansion must-have in the sunny state of California – though with their hectic schedule, it's doubtful whether Catherine and William will have time to dig out their bathers.
