Rightmove: Yorkshire & the Humber asking prices in August

Asking prices for properties in Yorkshire & the Humber were down 1.1 per cent from July to August, according to a new survey by online estate agent Rightmove.

This is the second smallest fall of all regions of England and Wales.

Annual growth for Yorkshire & the Humber is now -5.7 per cent, 0.9 percentage points below the England and Wales average of -4.8 per cent.

The survey finds the average asking price in Yorkshire & the Humber is now £167,236.
