Rightmove: South-west asking prices in August

Asking prices for properties in the south-west were down 0.4 per cent from July to August, according to a new survey by online estate agent Rightmove.
This is the smallest fall of all regions of England and Wales.
Annual growth for the south-west is now -3.7 per cent, 1.1 percentage points above the England and Wales average of -4.8 per cent.
The survey finds the average asking price in the south-west is now £253,996.
