Land Registry: House prices in the south-west in June

House prices in the south-west were up down 1.4 per cent in June, the fifth smallest drop in England and Wales, according to new figures from the Land Registry.

Annual house price inflation for the region was -1.9 per cent since June 2007. This is two percentage points below the England and Wales average of 0.1 per cent.

The survey finds the average house price in the south-west in June was £189,700.
