CLG: 0.4% fall in house prices in the south-west

House prices in the south-west were down 0.4 per cent in the 12 months since June 2007, the fourth largest fall of England's regions.

That is according to figures from the Communities and Local Government (CLG) out today.

This is one percentage point below the UK average of 0.6 per cent.

The survey finds the average house price in the south-west in June was £220,113.
