Daily Mail Ideal Home & Garden Show
April 5th 2006 – April 9th 2006, SECC Glasgow

The Ideal Home & Garden Show returns to Glasgow following its successful launch in 2005, with designs on brightening up your living space both inside and out for the warmer months ahead.

A massive greenhouse packed full of exotic plants and fruits will be the show's central feature, while experts on interior and landscape design will showcase styles and trends that blur the boundaries and make the garden area another room of the home to relax and entertain in.

The show will also a feature a Home and Garden demonstration theatre and a market garden where visitors can buy a variety of plants, shrubs, bulbs and seeds.

Evening Standard Homes & Property Live 2006
April 7th 2006 - April 9th 2006, Business Design Centre in Islington

The Evening Standard's Home & Property Live returns in 2006, following last year's launch event with a range of exhibitors for first-time buyers and homeowners.

Budding interior designers will be tempted by the JJAADA stand which, as well as offering interior design consultations to visitors, is holding a competition with a £15,000 interior design scholarship as the prize.

Other highlights include a range of talks from experts on topics including 'how to sell your house', a home security clinic sponsored by security firm ADT and a 'Future of London' exhibition showcasing developments in the capital over the next five years.

A Place in the Sun Live
April 7th 2006 – April 9th 2006, ExCel Centre, London Docklands

A Place in the Sun Live, which was named 'Best Launch Exhibition 2005', returns to London's ExCel Centre in April.

Based on the successful TV programme, presented by Amanda Lamb, the show will feature more than 300 exhibitors focusing on overseas property. As well as showcasing the world's best overseas properties for sale, it will feature tips from celebrities including Amanda Lamb herself.

A programme of free seminars, sponsored by Moneycorp, will inform visitors on topics including financing their dream home, tax saving strategies and buying an overseas property for investment.

Property Investor and Homebuyer Show Scotland 2006

Billed as the largest property show in Scotland, the Property Investor and Homebuyer Show returns in 2006 following its debut last year.

The Sunday Times Home Show
April 20th 2006 – April 23rd, ExCel Centre, London

The Home Show, in association with the Sunday Times, focuses very much on style with plenty of examples of modern furnishing and accessories for both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Style experts will provide guidance and advice on furnishing and decorating a home, and will be available to work with visitors to create mood boards for their individual rooms and projects.

“The idea is to bring stylish and achievable ideas to today’s home owner, from the chic and classic to the urban and edgy," says event director Nicky Barr.

"Our visitors will have the opportunity to obtain advice and inspiration from the experts and to buy the most beautiful products from our exhibitors."
