Episodes, which have included families moving from swanky houses in Cambridgeshire to coastal pads in Australia, also reveal how to find the perfect holiday home – perfect because it will come for free, provided you do not mind having someone move into yours.

On some shows, the exchanges are not a straight swap, such as the Nottingham couple who go to stay in Australia – while the occupants are still there.
