Alan Titchmarsh: returns to our screens on Friday
aboutproperty.co.uk's weekly TV guide for homeowners and property investors for the second half of the festive period, covering Thursday December 29th to Sunday January 8th.
Highlights
With the glut of Christmas films out of the way, a host of new property programmes hit our screens over the next ten days.
The Gardener's Year is the first of these, airing on Friday December 30th (BBC2, 2030). Alan Titchmarsh returns to guide amateur gardeners on what to do to keep their garden in top shape and when.
On Thursday January 5th, a new series starts on BBC2 that follows eight households who attempt to pay off their mortgage in two years. Business guru Rene Carayol guides the householders in
Pay off Your Mortgage in Two Years (BBC2, 2000) through a range of money-saving and money-making strategies.
Meanwhile, at the same time
A Place in the Sun: 20 Best Places to Make Money is essential viewing for any overseas property investors. Presenter Amanda Lamb picks out the world's best property investment hotpots (Channel 4, 2000).
