Kevin McCloud: investigates Britain's ugliest buildings
aboutproperty.co.uk's weekly TV guide for homeowners and property investors for the week beginning December 12th 2005.
A quiet week for property TV improves towards the end with the highlight being a new four-part series in which architect Kevin McCloud, of
Grand Designs fame, looks at Britain's ugliest buildings. Earlier this year, Channel 4 asked the public to vote for buildings they wanted to see demolished, and following a huge response the results now form the basis of
Demolition (Channel 4, Saturday at 20:05 GMT and Sunday at 20:00 GMT). The series begins by naming a 'dirty dozen' of the country's most hated buildings, and aims to spark debate and come up with architectural solutions.
