Britain's Dream Homes

Monday, 11 Feb 2008 16:57
Britain's Dream Home
Britain's Dream Homes features presenters Melissa Porter and Rhodri Owen as they travel the length and breadth of Britain, examining the country's finest properties.

The duo split homes available on the property market into the price brackets: a quarter of a million; half a million; and the million pounds plus range.

With each they see what the money can buy – considering the options open to the truly wealthy.

Each programme also has a different theme, with the pair using their strict criteria; they begin honing in on idyllic examples of another style of building.

On some days the pair look for the perfect thatched cottage, at others they are searching for Georgian townhouses or country manors.

When Melissa and Rhodri have selected the best from each category they go forward to the grand final – where the country's dreamiest home will be elected.

Will the viewers agree with the choice of winners in each category and with the choice for the overall winner on the programme?
