UKTV is offering the owners of derelict properties the chance to appear on television as they renovate the buildings and transform them into dream homes.
It’s estimated that there are around one million derelict or abandoned properties in the UK, and digital channel UKTV is keen to follow brave individuals keen to transform a wreck into a wonder.
Presenter and property renovator Simon O’Brien wants to hear from those interested in getting involved in his latest series.
He’s looking for inspirational projects and outgoing, down-to-earth people to follow as they take on unloved, rundown buildings and turn them into amazing homes over the next 12 months.
O’Brien will follow 15 dedicated home renovators from around the UK, whether they’re involved in the actual graft or overseeing the project, as they attempt to bring derelict dumps back to life.
