Gardens Through Time
Gardens Through Time features the reconstruction of seven historical gardens at the hands of the show's gardening experts.

Organised in recognition of the Royal Horticultural Society's bicentenary, Gardens Through Time faithfully reconstructs gardens from the Regency period stretching through to a 21st century garden.

The premise of the programme is to illustrate how gardens have changed through the ages; those in the 19th century embraced the influx of plants that were new to Britain, while in the 1950s more stylised and concrete gardens were taking shape.

Gardens Through Time inspires with ideas from yesteryear, which can be applied to one's garden in the 21st century, allowing for a truly historically diverse garden.

The gardening experts working their magic through the ages include Diarmuid Gavin.
