Respected horticulturalist, lecturer and broadcaster, Christine Walkden offers invaluable advice from her own green patch, in Christine's Garden.

She provides tips on a broad range of topics, and solutions to problems that many people may encounter in their own garden.

Drawing on years of experience, Christine gives advice on pruning fruit trees, growing vegetables, designing a garden and how to dig safely and properly.


Having led gardening tours around the world, to exotic and climatically diverse places such as Turkey, Kashmir, China, and South Africa, Christine's extensive knowledge of different kinds of plants makes her a fount of knowledge for green-fingered viewers.

She has previously appeared on Gardeners' World and Gardener's Diary.
