Recycling and water conservation are two key themes in Diarmuid Gavin Designs' The Westland Garden.
A live-work garden for "an active and artistic mature couple", the space has a Cedar-clad pavilion that creates two futuristic glass studios each with their own deck overlooking a pond. The garden also has bubble chairs suspended from metal rafters for relaxing in.
The minimalist colour theme is mostly green with "small interludes of colour".
Along with the space-age styling of the garden are a series of sustainable and environmentally-friendly features - recycled timber boards, composting areas and rain water collection from the roof for watering plants and to top up the pond.
