Pergo flooring - quality laminate supplier

Laminate flooring is a product that gets better and better.

That was the verdict of a report by companiesandmarkets.com this week, which has suggested that not only is this particular type of flooring likely to gain market share as the world economy recovers through being cheaper, but because it is getting better all the time.

It stated: "Enhancements in technologies such as embossed registration and texturing is offering consumers a cost-efficient way of attaining the looks of ceramics, tiles and hardwood."

So if laminate is in the vanguard of flooring technology, those looking to buy such products may be keen to ensure they are getting a product that offers the latest benefits of design and quality. No ordinary company will do.

Pergo laminate flooring is one product that has plenty of modern innovation in it. This can be deduced from the range of different items it has on offer. Specialising in thicker planks of between 8 and 11 mm, these come in a wide range of styles.

One example is that of wood effect laminate. Oak is the most popular wooden material and so it may come as no surprise that there is a very wide variety of Pergo oak laminate flooring available. But there is also ash, cherry, beech, maple, walnut and pine.

Add to this occasional items like acacia, mahogany, fruitwood and jatoba and it is clear that a lot of bases are covered.

Pergo also does tile laminate flooring, with various shades and colours mimicking stone and slate products, as well as unusual materials like cotto clay and graphite.

So for Pergo, having over 100 items and therefore providing lots of choice may spell good news. Partly for them, as they can meet the desires of the fussiest customer, as well as being a boon for that very patron, who may well want just that particular shade of bevelled oak effect bleached laminate - or something else.

Of course, any floor needs to have good foundations and a Pergo foam underlay may help a laminate floor from the company to perform even better in the home. Underlay is important, of course, as a way of keeping out unwanted moisture, insulating against noise and heat loss and even as a means of evening out slightly uneven floors. In producing its own underlay, Pergo can call on its experience of making floors and the potential issues of maintenance.
